- 4 tablespoon Chia Seeds
- 1 cup Milk Your favorite variety
- ⅓ cup Applesauce Unsweetened
- ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Maple syrup
Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Once you’ve got all the ingredients in a bowl, give them a good stir to keep the chia seeds from clumping together.
Portion the pudding into two mason jars or airtight containers. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Enjoy this pudding topped with diced apples, pecans, granola, or a drizzle of more maple syrup.
- If you like a sweeter pudding, add some more maple syrup.
- The ratio of chia seeds to liquid is usually 4 to 1, however, if you prefer a thicker or thinner pudding, adjust the liquid as you please!
- Homemade applesauce or store bought applesauce are both great in this recipe.
