My family is obsessed with these Caprese salad skewers because they’re so simple yet incredibly flavorful. We love any no bake recipe that doesn’t require turning on the stove, and these bite-sized skewers come together in no time.
During the Summer, I make some sort of Caprese salad almost every night for dinner. These skewers are perfect for summer gatherings, quick snacks, or even a fun way to get the kids to eat more veggies!

Ingredients to Make Caprese Skewers
These are the ingredients you need make easy Caprese skewers. You only need a few simple ingredients!

- Cherry or grape tomatoes. In you local grocery store, you can usually find really colorful tomatoes. Go crazy here! Pick tomatoes that are fun colors, or stick with the classic red tomatoes. If they are a little big, cut them in half.
- Fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine). You can usually find them in the gourmet cheese section at the grocery store.
- Fresh basil leaves. In the Summer, basil is everywhere! This is a great place to use all the fresh basil in your garden.
- Balsamic glaze and extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling. Use a really good quality olive oil and a really good quality balsamic vinegar glaze since we are not cooking these skewers.
- Salt and black pepper, to taste.

Sometimes balsamic glaze can be a little hard to find, but don't stress! You can make it yourself! You can make a quick balsamic reduction by simmering ½ cup balsamic vinegar over low heat until it thickens into a syrup.
