Ingredients to Make Creamy Taco Dip
You only need a few simple pantry staples to make this delicious and creamy dip!
- Sour cream. Use your favorite variety, but make sure it is full fat. Low fat or fat free tends to be a little more watery and will change the flavor and texture of this dip.
- Cream cheese. Softened to room temperature.
- Taco seasoning. Use your favorite variety. I like to use the low salt taco seasoning so I can control the amount of salt that goes into the dip.
- Cheese. Cheddar cheese is classic, but you can use Monterey jack, Colby jack, white cheddar, or sharp cheddar cheese.
- Corn. I like fire roasted corn, but if you can't find that, feel free to use whatever frozen or canned corn you can find.
- Rotel. This gives the dip a little spicy kick. It is loaded with tomatoes and spicy green peppers. I always have a can in my pantry.
