If you love this recipe, you are going to love my frozen whipped lemonade too!

Whether you're making a big batch for a backyard BBQ, a poolside treat, or just because you’re craving something delicious, this homemade frozen lemonade is a must-try!
Frozen strawberry lemonade is a staple in our house, especially during the summer months. It’s instantly cools you down and feels like a special treat, even though it’s ridiculously easy to make. Every Summer we go berry picking and I always have a ton of strawberries! This is one of my favorite recipes to make along with strawberry cheesecake dip and strawberry banana milkshakes!
Just like all of my homemade milkshakes and smoothies, these drinks are so much better than store-bought versions! Those tend to be loaded with artificial flavors and way too much sugar, but this homemade version lets us control the ingredients. Plus, it’s ready in just 5 minutes! What more could you want in a yummy drink!
Ingredients to Make Frozen Strawberry Lemonade

- Strawberries. You can use fresh or frozen berries. If you choose to use fresh strawberries, you might want to add some ice to the blender to make it more slushy. Fresh strawberries are easily frozen and I have a whole post on how to freeze strawberries!
- Lemonade. Use your favorite brand. If you have some homemade lemonade, use that!
- Ice cream. This helps make the drink more of a creamy slushy instead of one that is too icy.

Substitutions and Variations
- Make a strawberry limeade instead of a frozen strawberry lemonade. Swap out the lemon juice or lemonade for lime juice for a tangy twist.
- Make it an adult version! Add a splash of vodka, rum, or tequila for a frozen cocktail.
- Add different berries! Replace half of the strawberries with raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries.
- Make it sparkling! If you love some bubbles, add some sparkling water for a fizzy version.
How To Make Frozen Strawberry Lemonade

Step 1
In a high-speed blender, combine the frozen strawberries.

Step 2
Add the ice cream to the blender.

Step 3
Pour in the lemonade.

Step 4
Blend until the mixture becomes a thick, slushy consistency. If you like it thinner, add a splash of extra water. If you want it thicker, add more ice.
Tips and Tricks
- Use frozen strawberries for the best texture. They make the lemonade extra thick and slushy without needing too much ice.
- Adjust sweetness to taste. If your strawberries are not very sweet, add some sweetener! You can use maple syrup, honey, or even agave syrup. Start with less sweetener and add more until you reach the perfect sweetness.
- Chill your glasses. For an extra frosty drink, pop your glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving.
- Use a high-speed blender. A high speed blender is a great tool to have in your kitchen! You can make all sorts of things like carrot cake milkshakes, strawberry vanilla milkshake, and chocolate chip milkshake.

Blend all the ingredients and pour the mixture into ice cube trays. When ready to serve, blend the frozen cubes with a little extra water.
