This no churn cookies and cream ice cream is hands-down one of our all-time favorite desserts. My daughter is obsessed with cookies and cream ice cream, so when I can make a no churn ice cream version of it at home, you know I am going to jump on that chance!
Every time I make it, my family practically camps out by the freezer waiting for it to set. It’s ridiculously creamy, loaded with chunks of Oreos, and tastes just like the kind you get from an ice cream shop (maybe even better).
The best part? It only takes 10 minutes to throw together. No ice cream machine, no cooking a custard, no waiting for a base to cool. Just mix, fold, freeze, and done. It’s the yummiest summer treat for lazy days, last-minute parties, or when the whole family need a sweet fix. Don't forget to check out my Oreo milkshake and Oreo dip too!

Ingredients in This Oreo Ice Cream Recipe
You only need 4 simple ingredients to make this homemade Oreo ice cream recipe!
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream. Whipped until stiff peaks form. This gives it that creamy, scoopable texture. We are kind of making a homemade whipped cream as the base for this recipe.
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk. This adds sweetness and creaminess without needing eggs or an ice cream machine.
- 12-15 Oreo cookies, crushed. Use regular, double-stuffed, or any fun seasonal variety you love! If you want even more Oreo flavor, add more Oreos!
- Vanilla extract. To add to the vanilla flavor of the ice cream.

How To Make Oreo Ice Cream, No Churn!

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer (or stand mixer) to whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. This takes about 2-3 minutes on high speed.

Step 2
In a separate bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, crushed Oreos, and vanilla extract. Make sure to keep a few Oreos aside to top the ice cream later on.

Step 3
Add the Oreo mixture to the whipped cream. Be careful when you are mixing it all together so the whipped cream doesn't deflate too much.

Step 4
Pour the mixture into a 9x5-inch loaf pan or any freezer-safe container. Top with extra Oreos you set aside. Cover tightly with plastic wrap or a lid and freeze for at least 6 hours, or until firm.
Tips and Tricks
- Chill your mixing bowl. It helps the cream whip faster and fluffier.
- Don’t overwhip. Stop at stiff peaks. That means when you lift the whipped cream it should hold it's shape on the spoon or the whisk. Any further and you risk turning your cream into butter.
- Crush Oreos your way. For more texture, break them up by hand. For finer crumbs, use a food processor.
- Freeze overnight. If you can wait, freezing for 8+ hours gives the best texture.
- Use a loaf pan. It freezes evenly and scoops beautifully. For individual servings, scoop the ice cream into muffin tins and freeze that way. No scooping needed!
Storage Instructions
Keep your no churn Oreo ice cream in a tightly sealed airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
Press a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the ice cream before sealing the lid to prevent any ice crystals from forming on top of the ice cream.
This is a great recipe to make ahead too! You can make this up to 3 days in advance for parties or BBQs. Just scoop and serve when ready and top it with homemade whipped cream!
