If you love the flavors of warm, gooey cinnamon rolls, this cinnamon roll milkshake is going to be your new favorite treat! It's a rich and creamy milkshake that blends the yummy flavors of vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, and cream cheese to create a super thick milkshake that tastes just like a cinnamon roll in a glass!

When it comes to cinnamon flavors, there's nothing better than the ooey gooey flavors of cinnamon rolls. They can be kind of difficult to make, so why not get the best of all the flavors of a cinnamon roll without all the hassle!
Growing up, we ate cinnamon toast crunch ALL THE TIME! The cinnamon and sugar was so good, and that is kind of where this milkshake came from too! It's got warm cinnamon flavors, sweet sugar, and cold frosty ice cream! What more could you ask for?
Ingredients to Make a Cinnamon Roll Milkshake
To make this cinnamon roll-inspired milkshake, you’ll need just a handful of ingredients:

- Vanilla ice cream. Use your favorite vanilla ice cream. Vanilla frozen yogurt will work too! Vanilla ice cream is the base to so many of my favorite milkshakes, like cheesecake milkshakes, strawberry vanilla milkshakes, and even a peach milkshake!
- Whole milk. Whole milk will give your milkshake that signature creamy texture. If you have 2%, skim milk, or even a nondairy milk, that would all work too!
- Cinnamon. It is a cinnamon roll milkshake after all! If you really love cinnamon, go crazy with it and use a ton!
- Vanilla extract. Everything is better with a little vanilla extract!
- Cream cheese. When you think of a cinnamon roll, of course you think of cream cheese icing. The cream cheese gives the milkshake a slight tang and richness that will immediately make you think of the frosting on a cinnamon roll.

How To Make Cinnamon Roll Milkshake

Step 1
In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and cream cheese. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the milkshake is too thick, add a little more milk, one tablespoon at a time, until it is the consistency you would like.

Step 2
Once blended, taste your milkshake. If you want a stronger cinnamon flavor, sprinkle in a little more cinnamon and blend again.

Step 3
Pour the cinnamon roll shake into a tall glass.

Step 4
For an extra fun touch, top it with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel sauce, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. You can even crumble a cinnamon roll, some cinnamon toast crunch cereal, or graham crackers on top for added texture!
Make Ahead Instructions
Like all milkshakes, it's really best to make this cinnamon roll milkshake and enjoy it right away, but you can prepare parts of it ahead of time.
Blend everything together and store the milkshake in the freezer for up to 1 hour. Blend again before serving to restore the creamy texture.
You can also make the milkshake in advance. Combine the ice cream, cream cheese, vanilla, and cinnamon in advance, then freeze. When you are ready to serve it, blend it with milk and enjoy it with some homemade whipped cream.
